I Got it working for steam version.
Refer to...
www.cheathappens.com/virus_warning.asp
1. Download trainer(make sure its correct version)
2. Right click on trainer and go to compatibility and check "run as administrator.
3. Run trainer and then start game.
Note:
Some trainers require you hit F1 to activate trainer during game.
If you get a Virus warning, see the following....

TIER 7Guy Incognito posted on Sep 08, 2010 1:38:03 PMThat does not work. Your have to run as admin just to keep the trainer open. Also on another post they said they would not make 1.30 trainer for steam/d2d version. I'm glad I wasted my money on this site.

I would love to see a functioning trainer for Steam TQ so I didn't have to mess around with no-cd exe's, no trainer customization and the middle function keys that do not work...
...specifically F5. I'd rather have skills than levels.
