regarding certain vehicles not being affected by destruction mode, i further isolated the options to make it easier to kill tanks, etc.
regarding the EDF option, the option simply reduces the control value of the current area to zero. the tutorial vids in your journal even say that you still have to complete several missions to completely 'unlock' that level to move on to the next level. so setting this to zero does not implicitly 'unlock' this area and allow you to move to the next. You still have to complete (3, i think) some missions in that area to unlock it. Now if this option isn't useful or i am incorrect in what i am saying, then let me know and we will remove the option.
i have played the game in long 20-30 minute sessions with ZERO crashes using the trainer. I doubt the trainer is causing any crashes/lockups.
pwizard will post trainer with improved inv. vehicle and destruction mode options shortly-
best,
Cal
dropping edf control to 0 prevents random mission popups regardless of the additional missions to liberate a sector.
the option is good if you want to finish the game as quickly as possible, but an option to set control to something high, or freeze it would be really useful for guerilla mission grinding.

Ah, I'm quite glad you found that actually. The random missions popping up all over the place whenever I so much as sneezed was getting a little irritating. Quite the favourable “side-effect”.

no guarantee it's true, though.
