    Yes this only affects whoever fired the trigger, no one else.
    The event can be fired by using the console (as I have already explained in the first post).

    Thanks, got the one with Unit recruitment time. Now Got one for buildings?

    Edit: I edited /common/buildings.txt files, all building time to 1.

    But does that affect the AIs also?

    Yes that would affect the AI as well.

    You need to give the bonus you want to the actual player, either by changing the difficulty settings, or by using events.

    so to do this for faster "buildings" only for me, what do I put in.... Static modifiers for example?

    I don't know if there is a way to modify specific buildings via the static modifiers, but using the proper modifiers can make building faster (which should be applied to the difficulty level used by the player).

    Yeah you should be able to find a way to tie it in with the difficulty okay.
    As far as adding it into the event I'm not sure of the code right now but I'll look into it.

    Greetings!

    Just looking at the modifiers for your script, can you explain the values for me please?

    eg: global_ic = 8.00
    Does this mean the IC goes up by 10% or by 8 proper?

    unit_recruitment_time = -100.0
    Would this mean that recruitment/production would be reduced by 100%

    IIRC IC will increase 800%.
    Not 100% sure for recruitment haven't tested, I remember with practical knowledge most units could be finished wihin a week or two so I presume that's at 1000%.
    Sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer, its been a while, by all means though if thats incorrect just fiddle with the values until you're happy with the result.
