Hmm, I had the same problem when tutorial thing was going on, just change targets from the chopper to a soldier and back and you should be able to throw it...

Yeah, the game specifically tells you to switch between targets.
after leaving gentek for the first time, and being chased by the helicopter, which launches a missle and getting the short cutscene I am prevented throwing the car,used tab to select the helicopter but no matter how hard I try the car wont leave my hands and end up smashing the helicopter. My keymappings are all set right
Anyone come across this yet, if so what's the cure?
You must PRESS E near a car then PRESS left click to throw the car
