Hello Knightpress, awsome mod, been playing with it from start.. but since lately I`m having a very bih & strange problem.. I finished all the campaigns ages ago, and having fun playing late night skirmishes against the cpu, I`m not an online gamer type, but now whenever I start the skirmish missions.. I just play alone it seems, the mission starts, everything seems fine, but the cpu doesn`t even deploy and setup it`s base, just tried to play another one, but no luck.. I started as Panzer Elite against the British expert cpu.. built my base, started searching for the enemy, but again there were only a few infantry cpu units on the map, and when I reached their base.. the trucks were undeployed and standing on the edge of the map.. and that`s always the case! Do you have any advice what could be wrong here?
Thanks
Ah yes, in comparison to when you're playing with Expert CPU without Ewiger Krieg the CPU builds waaay much more units and is a very great challenge. I guess the CPU is confused by the new units that are given to it. It would be nice to see a solution for this, if it's possible of course.
Well, that's just it...
This actually has been discussed before, and unfortunately the answer now is much as it was then...
The game is trying to come to grips with the units it has available and the "game plan" it's programmed to try and follow. It sees the units it's expecting, however some of them are not in the order (priority) its expecting, thus it doesn't built them, and the units not listed in the AI's expected priority roster can readily go overlooked even if they would be more practical than building another unit. So some things get built, while others don't, and sometimes an option that would have been a better choice isn't taken because all in all the AI isn't "aware" of its options like a human is.
Keep in mind, the phrase Artificial Intelligence is bandied about quite a bit, but to this day there is actually no such thing as artificial intelligence, it's merely a program that responds the way it's program to respond if a condition is "this way or that way". It is literally a series of Yes Or No answers to the situation, and out pops the response it will attempt. Intelligence (artificial or otherwise) however could take a never before seen situation and adapt as best as it could with its understanding of the limitations placed upon it.
There's no real way to make the game more intelligent, and so the only alternative is to have everything in the game exactly as the game is expecting it to be, which would mean no mod... So you're sort of "damned if you do, damned if you don't"...

lol I thank you for your support as always
Nice to see You alive, Knightpress. Like I said in the past - Your mode is one of the best thing which I have ever met in case of playing the PC games. I play Mafia 2, Dead space 2, BBC 2, CoD Black ops., MoH Tier ed., Bioshocks,Crysis, .... enjoying my Geforce 580, ... but, ... if really want to enjoy something, .... I reinstall Company of Heroes + Ewiger Krieg and I live on another planet for a moment. Just only one other game gives me the similar pleasure - the very old one Hidden and Dangerous 2. And maybe the first Vietcong. Thats it. So .... Thank You!
