Yes, the most current version which is always available in my Signature Line, is indeed compatible with 2.600 and I do my best to always stay on the cutting edge of compatibility.
As for installation, the instructions are included with the download, please follow them to the last letter for proper results.

Im having issues - i cant get the game to fire up with the modded shortcut.
I have disabled the UAC (user access control) in windows, which did nothing.
A brief conversation with knightpress has lead me to try a few things, but short of a reinstall of the game, im stuck
Has anyone had similar issues with win7, or failing that, Vista?

While I don't have Win7 "in house" to test with, I've not had any reports of my mod, or any others mind you, not working at all... I've heard of some of the later Win7 RC's causing issues with some mods while doing a LAN, but the mod still worked and it was a visual issue, and since Ewiger Krieg doesn't have hardly any visual/graphical modifications within it, that shouldn't be a factor at all apart from just a few new icons.

From what I know of Win7, it is "in effect" much like Vista, so there wasn't any huge reason I could see that it wouldn't work on either OS, and unfortunately at least until this coming year when Hex-core processors come out and I start getting the urge to build an entirely new system from scratch, I see little reason to go out of my way for Win7 since I'm already dual booting WinXP and Vista on this machine quite nicely.

Ah yes, in comparison to when you're playing with Expert CPU without Ewiger Krieg the CPU builds waaay much more units and is a very great challenge. I guess the CPU is confused by the new units that are given to it. It would be nice to see a solution for this, if it's possible of course.
