    Has anyone figured out where the run speed is located in the slq files? There was a post in the official german message boards that managed to increase the value. But can't figure out how he did it. Tired of SLOW walk/run

    It would indeed be nice to know how to get characters to move faster, increasing both run&walk speed, so walk would be faster than run currently is.

    Found out, how to modify speed. You basically need to edit your savegame. It is an SqLite3 file (\Documents\Drakensang\profiles\default\save\savegame_0\savegame.dsa), and you can edit it with: SQLite Administrator Link
    You can find the column RunSpeed in the table _INSTANCE_PC.

    Here is a nice sql query command you can use.

    update _Instance_PC set SneakSpeed=1.5, WalkSpeed=2, RunSpeed=5.5, CurrentSpeed=5.5, MaxVelocity=5.5;

    (I think these are the best values. I played around with them a bit, and much faster will make the camera lag behind, and the movement animation seem out of sync. This is the fastest it can go, and still look and work fine.)

    There's also an editor that will allow you to change lots of stuff with the game, including the inventory items and sneak, walk and run speed.

    Here are the locations where I got the 0.9 versions of the editor. Most placers including here only have the 0.7 version which does not allow you to change inventory or speed. Note that these are beta an you should backup your saves before making changes. Also I kept running into errors when I made changes w/ the Knight companion. Also try not to delete equipped items as i kept running into problems doing that. Other than that, Enjoy. I know I am. Got these of of the German forums for the game.

    xp :upload.worldofplayers.de/files/DrakensangEditor0.9_pBeta1_x86.zip

    vista :upload.worldofplayers.de/files/DrakensangEditor0.9_pBeta1_x64.zip

    Also the speed changes will not work for guest type npcs only companions.
