On the quest for the dutchess of dementia to find the rebellion ppls, the torture guy wont use his spell, and the game wont advance and he cant talk to me any help would be appreciated

And I don't know what could be wrong.. When I asked ppl about conspiracy in Crucible, no1 said a thing. Then I said; Herdir, torture him or something like that. And then they said; please, no more. There is one Khajiit who knows about it, don't remember his name though. :S

Yes, Im in Crucible, but the guy wont cast his spell. They just sit there looking bored.

Well then I don't know.. Maybe it's a bug or something. I think you should just load an older save.

probably you get the answer you need and torture is no longer necessary or maybe you stand too close to him so he cant use spell.

I'm not sure, but i think you have to start the tortureing inside the castle on the ducthess's handmaiden. Ana something I believe, she's always told me who to go see next. And I think the Khajiit's name is Mazadda.
