The version 2 trainer works well. Simply deactivate the options you enabled before it loads a new location. It is usually during a cut scene so it makes it easy. For instance after you escape the prison in the beginning of the game you board the helicopter. if you don't deactivate the options before you get control again it will crash. It is slightly annoying, but not too bad. Thanks for the trainers guys. I am always surprised and delighted.

So just to confirm, this trainer *DOES* work well with the latest version of Gears of War? I have not bought the game yet so I'm just wanting to make sure.

trainer works well but game is ported very bad.

I my self have tried to play this game 4 times and it looses my save so i can complete the hardest level and this is not always the trainers fault because i have tried it without the trainer.

Epic should be ashamed of its lack of support for a pc game, not to mention how popular the game is.

I dont understand why everyone is saying this trainer works well. I cant get it to work AT ALL. I enable the trainer, but health is definitely not increased, i DO NOT have unlimited ammo, and I ALWAYS have to reload.

Trainer Not Working patch v1.3 today

Trainer is not working for me either. Running 1.3 version.

Read all comments. so ran the game for 1 hour with no trainer - Zero crashes.
Ran the game with trainer activated - Do not get unlimited ammo, do not know about life etc, because game freezes and crashes just about 10 seconds after I've activated the trainer.

Bad port? Maybe. But doesn't hide the fact that I can run around with no crashes and that it crashes shortly after the trainer is activated.

The trainer does "work" but you have to disable it before a cut scene starts. Also, if you get stuck in an instant death scene, you get chainsawed, crushed by the beserker, the game crashes.

It however doesn't completely work, for example it doesn't give your co-op partner the infinite health and ammo. I had to get my co-op partner to download the trainer for himself but even then he wasn't able to get the health option to work, just the ammo.

Another thing that the trainer doesn't do is give infinite health to the APC you drive on ACT 2. Trying to get through that section is a real pain as I'm playing insane solo since the trainer doesn't give my co-op partner infinite health as well.

Also, just now it crashed while I was in the middle of a cutscene, with the options disabled and now my save data is gone.

This happened to me too. Half way through an Insane playthrough. So annoying and it put me off starting again.
