no u dont... 1. u need a wireless thingy 2. u need to tpye in the web key into your ds's wireless thing (when u start the game u click on "wireless connections) 3. I DON'T HAVE A CORD TO PLUG MY DS WIT AND I HAVE FRIEND CODES ON MY GAMES
