Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

Hi all

Has anyone figured out how to give spells to the player character - or does that remain impossible? The givespell command in DebugMode only works for other (companion) characters.

Click on the character in debug mod then enter the cheat.

Well, no that doesn't work. It works for NPC's but not for the player character - i.e. the one you choose from the start.

Well actually you have to select the character you want to give the spell to by right-clicking on him as well. (e.g. - you have to have a portrait of your character beside the action bar on top of the screen, only then will the cheat work.

Thank you for your reply, but again: It doesn't work. I know you have to select a character before you enter the code, but the cheat "givespell" only works for NPC's - not for your own character.

I think it only works if you player char is a spellcaster. Not sure tho since I only play divine spellcasters.

it does work, also your character needs to be a spell caster for it to work
