Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) Message Board  

I was playing and Live disconnected so i restarted game and when i did there was an update, i watched the extractions of the items and now when i went back into game i was in my safe house and now the walls are flashing bright white, just wondering if any one else got the update as well and experiencing any thing similar or something new as far as a problem with the update.

I didn't get the problem you mentioned. The only problem i have after patching is that the game doesn't run as well anymore. It used to run with no lag at all before the patch. The only problem was the memory leak causing the game to crash. Running CacheBoost or CacheManXP in the background can deal with that.

well i am still having that problem i mentioned as far as the performance of the game b4 the patch its about the same for me, i believe once Rock Star implement the nvidia sli into the next patch then i can use both my GPU and then things will be a lot better, till then just have to keep using single GPU.

As far as the flashing goes i went to rock stars site to ***** about it in their support never did find it to ***** about it so if any one can point me to a link to their support i would appreciate it, thanks.......
