I seem to be experiencing some problems on this quest, first of all the guy wont accept the head, secondly he's in the middle of nowhere and thirdly i went into his celler and now i cant get out. Could anyone shed some light on this?

Something similar happened where I got stuck at one point when after a fight there was supposed to be a cut scene but it never happened, so I was stuck in this area with three people standing like statues, and I just had to turn off the Console without saving, and it took me back to my most recent save game, which if you have saved regularly should be not far away from you current progress
But if you've saved, well I dunno :/ You could quit the quest by travelling to a region etc but who knows what save state that will take you to.

Yeah luckily i saved just after i did the quest for the mansion, all i lost was rest of the actual quest so its not so bad, thanks.
