Does anyone know of a trades men that sells sniper rifles? I've found a few that sell the .308 ammo and restock it like once a week, but I can't find anyone that sells sniper rifles. I was able to buy ONE in Underworld, but I've not seen any for sometime now. I've not travled and discovered "all" locations yet so do I just need to travel to a particular location or locations?

When you do the GNR quest, after you cross the river, head north along the river bank. I encountered a man with leather armor and a sniper rifle that was trying to kill me. There were a four raiders also. Not sure if I did something wrong to get him p*ssed, but there it is. I killed him and took his rifle. I found him before I entered the metro right by the destroyed bridge. Sorry it's not any better, but I was drunk and thought the gun was cool so I forgot to look at his name or even pay attention.

ok i know how to git an easy one fallow the west side of megatons wall heading west keep going tell you see a rock with 3 "dead"trees foruming a triangle around the rock walk up to the rock and push A it's hallow there is a holotape,sniper rifle and some other stuff hope this helps

In a place named , Minefield, there is a guy with a sniper , but later in the game you encounter alot more people with snipers , only used by Raiders

i have some advice for you i have finnished the game and i have found that sniper rifles can be found in the underworld and also in rivet city in the market district talk to flack and shrapnel

When you encounter raiders they'll have one.

I ain't seen any raiders with sniper rifels.
