I can't get the console to work? I'm using Vista Home 32bit, I've tried all sorts of resolutions but none of them works. I also tried just typing in something, but this also doesn't work . I don't have any IR-devices in my device management.

Please help me

I'm actually getting the no console issue with XP Pro!

Any workarounds for XP Pro? No IR device drivers under Human Interface!

I'm also having trouble getting the console to appear. I'm on Vista 64, tried different resolutions but don't have any IR devices in Device Manager. I also tried typing but that doesn't work either.

Anyone got anymore suggestions?

i had the issue where i had the console i just couldnt see what i was typing...no too bad just a little annoying...running on 1248x1024

tried the IR thing...but unfortunately i didnt have any IR items in my device manager just a bunch of USB and generic HID Complient stuff.... will try adjusting resolution instead

You can't see what you are writing.

Just to reinforce the previous posts...

I upped the resolution from 1248x1024 to the next highest (1400xsomething) and I can see what I'm writing in the console now...Wierd that the 1248x1024 seems to be the problem for so many people....



(no slowdown in the game too so the better resolution is an added bonus to seeing what im typing!)

i am have the same problem as the vista users
and the resolution changing doesn't help for me
i don't have the IR-Devices
and the command console doesn't show up
at the bottom cause my HUD doesn't go away

any solutions?
