did you wait and press F1 to activate the trainer AFTER the game had loaded and NOT at the main menu like the instructions state?

I just read that, and no, I did as i'm used to, pressing F1 at the main menu, maybe that's why it messed up, but I completed the game using 2 cheats instead.

we added ability to press F1 over and over in the trainer to reset it. this game has a server/client model and the server gets unloaded and reloaded between levels, which moves the code around in memory. pressing F1 at the beginning of every level will recapture the server and the trainer will work correctly.
