Just want to make sure... there is absolutely no other alternative ending to the game?

Anyone tried

- Killing Strelok with regualr gun?
- Letting him go?
- Killing Lebedev?
- Something else?

Is the lame-ass ending with bodies in the hallway and flickering TV screens the best we got?

I had another end...
I was in the middle of the zone and had to kill strelok with EMP Gun.
He had something like anomaly shield.
And after i killed him there was something like explosion and i saw that room like you with tv's.
Lot's of stalkers were there like zombies or whatever and watching that tv screens....

yeah, thats THE ending. I guess there is no other.
