ya i downloaded maps for halo custom edition, and i need help activating them.... plz help

You have to open up the map folder in the game's directory. You can do this through Windows Explorer.
Once you've added your map, open the game and you can play the new maps.

edit: ok so i go online, i cant play any of the servers, ive only tried 2 but both are closed down, they are both maps that i have. is it maybe because at the bottom i need a "manual update?"
