Oh what a great day....Or not.

You see i have a bit of a secret i dont go blabbing about. Its that almost everyone in my family is diagnosed with bipolar. And it seems the doc thinks i may also continue this tradition. This....May be a problem. First id have to leave my job. Second id have to spend much more money then i have on the medication. And then theres the whole....Well id be bipolar thing.

It seems if i do indeed end up becoming bipolar i am going to have a hard time ahead of me.

So yeah....Being told you are showing signs of being bipolar...Not fun.

For those of you who dont know what bipolar is. Link

Being diagnosed with anything foreign is never fun. Especially when it's something like bipolar. My thoughts and prayers are with you Nappy, and I hope everything turns out to be okay in the end.

Bipolar, If im not mistaken, is not something one develops. if you are bipolar, you have been from birth. why would that change your life now? just start taking medication and get on with your life.

Bipolar is something that's been debated about its origins, while it is linked to genetics, having the gene doesnt mean you'll develop it. It also usually doesn't develop until your late teens-early twenties, sometimes latter. So yes, you are mistaken.

Bi-Polar is rather hard to diagnose correctly since it's stages take over the course of years rather than a few hours...more appropriate, their days can seem normal until something triggers them into the current stage they're in (depression stage, maniac stage, ect).

Tourette Syndrome refers to having what are known as tics which are involuntary actions to sensory phenomenon. (multiple physical tics and at least one vocal tic). Many people may have one or two tics, but you can see the difference between one who just has one tic and one who has the full syndrome. I have a Palilalia tic which accompanies my Asperger Syndrome...we all have something that brings us down a bit...if you look on it as a whole, very few people are blessed with having 0% disabilities or inconvinent mental dis-functions.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel
