can some1 plz help me i cant rathalos and ive tried 8 times i need help plzzzzz

Well he's most weak to water attribute. Simple things such as barrel bombs, potions, paintballs, and other items will make it supprisingly alot easier. If you can't get a weapon with water attribute, the rathalos is still a bit effective to thunder as well as dragon if you can afford to get any of those. Also an easy strategy is to try to cut off it's tail first which not only does extremely good damage, but also can sometimes give you rare items. Breaking off pieces of it's armor will help you do more damage. Such as breaking off the horns on his head, the plate on his chest and the webbing of it's wings. Usually it takes 5-7 hits to break off armored body parts of the rathalos (including other wyverns as well). If you can't afford to get any of the above listed attribute weapons, a simple Iron Katana will do just fine. I don't however, reccomend using any weapon with lower attack than the Iron Katana.

that's a no no..see, raths are very resistant to fire, u either use water, ice, or dragon attributed weapons. but then again, if ur against a normal village chief rathalos u can, since it has a decent raw damage. BUT that takes OH so much time in slaying em..my first rathalos kill was with Eager Cleaver,,took me ages. if u don't have any alternative with the attributes that i mentioned, use any weapon with good (if not great) raw damage. Katana "Dragon" will be a good choice for your level.. and oh, ladster is right, cut his tail off first to minimize his attack range..it'll make it easier.

wen i killed rathalos (hr5) i used the pleisoth crystasword cos it has ice attribute

Water, ice, or electric is the most effective. Dragon too but its harder to get.

but he has resistance against the thunder artribute it shows in his armor
