steam works cept the wargear, that causes a crash....sad

use the no-cd fixes on steam version for any issues.

Huh? How does one install a NO-CD for a Steam version? Please fill me in, I feel so out of the loop here ...

Just like any other game. Replace the original exe with the no-cd fix.

I used the 1.20 trainer for Soulstorm and it works fine for a while but when I get to the Ork Stronghold (I was Tau when it happened) the game crashed a few seconds after the cutscene.

Did I do something wrong? 😵

Steam version is updated to 1.2.120. I believe that this minor change is just a crack block. IE it is to stop the trainer from working. With THQ and their for Relic going down the tubes at the moment it would appear that no future update will be re-released.

PWizard, Any chance on an updated trainer?

Lots of crashes with the existing version, even after killing things like my Anti Virus/Firewall. Any major mission ends in failure but missions with no popups (Voice overs, additional objective etc) work fine.
