I am a huge halo fan. The career is slightly overated but the multiplayer is fun.

Lets put it this way Halo wouldnt be half as popular if it started out multiformat and not just Xbox... Can anyone guess why?

I love the campaign mode. The only reason I ever got into Halo was because of the story. I was never that good at multiplayer so I didn't get into the hype but eventually I looked into the story a bit closer and found it really interesting. If it wasn't for Halo 3 I probably wouldn't have bought an X-Box 360, I'd have waited until GTA IV came out. Online is really fun but the story is what makes the game worth it for me. And the achievements, it's fun trying to get them all.

The gameplay is truly awesome in Campaign. It's by far the best gameplay I've seen in a video game, maybe as good as the gameplay in the Crash Bandicoot games (i know what you're thinking...shut up). As I don't have XBL, I cannot judge how good the MP is, so I'm clueless on that front. Asides from that, from the campaign alone I can see why this was the most eagerly anticipated game of 2007. Maybe the hype of its anticipation was a little too much, but overall I would not say that Halo 3 is overrated.
