or can nothing compare to the first one? i couldnt get into the 2nd or 3rd halo.. but i loved the 1st one. i replayed that thing 4 or 5 times through within the first year i had it.

anyone share my opinion?

A lot of people like the first one the best...just your preference I suppose.

For me it was always the storyline...so I liked all three games...just one a little more over the other I suppose.

yea i like to enjoy the storyline of a game instead of just a shoot em up. if it has a good solid storyline with no jumps or gaps in the middle of it, then it has good replayability for me.

2nd and 3rd ones were a little too shoot-everything-you-see-and-dont-listen-to-the-storyline for me.

yeah bungie really stopped perfecting the story line after the first one, they focused more on multiplayer

i liked halo one's campaign a lot better, but halo 3 is obviously the best one for multiplayer.

yea the multiplayer is extremely fun, but for the people that don't have it, or can't get it, it would be a huge bummer to have bought a $60 game for something that can't even be used.

well, thats bungie for ya...they want you to pay for XBL so they make it sum acheivements you cant get unless you do have XBL

You can also play split screen or system link with your friends if you don't have Xbox Live.
