I'll agree that COD4 and Assassins Creed are BIG competitors against this game same as Mass Effect and Halo 3. But I think there are more subliminal aspects to this game that make it so fun and addictive.
I can also understand what you mean by the same feel as black, i'd agree with that and add it's similar fighting to Gears of War and the money to upgrade your weapons reminds me of Mercanaries.
I would probably give this a 9/10 bearing in mind I haven't finished it yet

why is it xbox 360 but not pc if i had xbox360 i would get it

I like it. it has a really good replay value for me. i have to admit though, eben on the recruit level that airport was pretty danm hard. my wfe and i play 2 player co-op and she's pretty good at it as well. The agro thing is kind of a pain in the ass when you have a bad ass gun and your parter has a joke for a weapon. all in all it's SWEET game!

ok i like halo 3 and cod4 i don't no why ppl like mass effect i thought it was pretty boring i liked kotor better GOW is good and mercenaries was fun this game was fun but once u beat the game its like

There are team battles on XBL and Although it's a bit short I reccomend it =] i usually dont like 3PS but this one was good =]

I am not usually a fan of this type of game but a friend let me borrow it and it is really great game. short tho.

I think the game was over-hyped. It's a great game, It's just not the way anyone (or maybe just me) thought It was going to be. Duck and cover action, melee, aggro (which was a nice touch I've never seen in any game. ) Only thing they need to improve is the story. My god was the story so dull, and you don't find out 'till the end when your like "Wow, that was stupid."
The action is pure, and the game is more of a tactical shooter, so thats a plus. What about online? It's a new take on Xbox live. Theres no big teams [ONLY] 2 on 2 and there is [NO] deathmatch,slayer, whatever you wanna call it. You can't play 2 different gamer profiles on split screen Xbox live. One has to be quest, unless your on different xbox's. The live matches have one objective on the map (Destroy an item while the other team defends it; Escort and injured person to and extraction point; Or kill an enemy target) But another thing is you 2 aren't the only ppl on the map. Their are also AI's trying to kill you also, so thats pretty fun.
Just wanted to cover all the down and ups in the game, because even though this is a duck and cover, tactical, co-op game. It isn't for everyone.
In my oppinion.. I've beat story on medium, hard, and I'm still able to play through the story mode, without getting bored.
Just rent it 1st.
