I am having trouble finding this skull. I looked all over that structure and I still haven't found it, although I loaded the checkpoint that starts the Hornet part.
Has anyone found it?
I am playing on Heroic Difficulty. I have found most of the other skulls on this same difficulty.

Search "Halo 3 Thunderstorm Skull" on youtube and itll show you. Im too lazy to explain details on how to get it.

I needed to start from the beginning instead of a checkpoint. It dopesn't show up unless you start from the beginning of the level.

His problem wasn't locating the skull, just that he started the level at the checkpoint closest to it, rather than the beginning of the level as you need to.
