How can you stop a Chao from dying besides turning it into a Chaos Chao or taking it to the GBA? I had this one Chao that still had to be reborn once before it became a Chaos Chao but it died instad of being reborn. Is there any way to guarantee its safety?
Only way is 2 treat it nice, I heard. My chao never died or were reborn. 🤔

u can make yo chao reborn by never abusing it once(punching,attacking,throwing,etc.)if u abuse it,it will die instead of recarnate.if u accidently attack it,reset the gamecube.if u have a chao who has been abused and that was saved,well then your screwed.
You dont have to reset your game if you accidentally abuse it, just pet it until it stops crying (wander somewhere else, if its still crying go back and pet it)

-beat all of beginner race
-unlock the hero and dark gardens
