No it's not. If you'r low lvl it's as same as orcish and if you are higher lvl than it has the same stats as regular ebony.

Yes, daedric for heavy and glass for light. A fun thing to do is making yourself 100% chameleon by using sigil stones with 20%+ chameleon and using them on your armor. Enemies can't see what attacks them or where to attack.
Currently lost, I make my way through life somehow without being in complete despair. Mostly alone due to timidity and fear, I wait for someone to clear the fog and break the shell hidden within.

Or, the Imperial Dragon armor. It will be Heavy or Light armor depending on two things.
1. Which one is your major skill. If both are then, 2. Whichever one is the higher skill.
Since I mastered light armour, and it's one of my major skills, that's what type the dragon armour is.
If you have it all equipped, (plus it has enchantments, but my Glass Armour I have has better ones, but still.) it can be just as good as Glass or Daedric armour, unless you have those super enchanted like Daagor mentioned.
Take mine for example. I am a thief, and I have all Glass armour enchanted with each piece fortifying me 10 Endurance points, so I have a max encumbrance of like 800 points, so I can carry alot of stuff and then sell it all. It's worth it too, i have like 555,000 gold right now!

Hi there!
In oblivion as in morrowind, the best armor is the one you make using the editor, the best looking? well, that's up to everybody's personal choice, using the editor is not that hard and is free from bethesda (the maker of the game), you copy the armor you like and change the stats and the enchantement, place it in a chest or barrel where you'll find it easy and... you know the rest.
Same goes for all the other equipement too.
Too bad most other (RPG) games don't have editors.
I have tried Fallout 1 & 2, and i was NOT impressed, isn't Fallout 3 the same thing, with only slightly improved graphics?
