If you're fighting the Cerberus that attacks with the other Hounds then grab a Hound with the O button and kick him at the Cerberus. Kratos is invincible during the kicking animation and the Cerberus will suffer damage from the hit. On Titan mode, kicking a Hound will really pulverize the Cerberus because they take more damage from him.
