america should swap the name football with soccer, it just makes more sense

The UK, and the rest of the world, call it "football". The Americans, and the Americans ONLY, call it "soccer".

Now this is my opinion but i think the word "football" is better associated with what the UK and rest of the world define football as. American football is tackling, throwing, running and hardly any kicking. So it doesnt deserve the term "football". The Barclays English Premier League DOES, however.

i noe for sure that in australia they have their own league of football but they also like to call international football, soccer
