i keep getting killed by basarios so can u please tell me what type of weapon is best against a basarios.

a weapon wit strong attack and if u can use water att.

...Wrong, I can kill Basarios with a BONESPIKE. He's weak to dragon...not much to water unless you crack his chest and hit him there with water

Do Basarius take longer to kill as you go up HR levels? Because I tried the HR2 quest and it took 1/2 an hour, then I tried the HR1 quest and it took a 1/4 of an hour. Is there any particular reason for this?

i'll tell u a very easy way which whount evenn get u hurt once get a bowgun any bow gun as long as its a light one the havey kinda suck run around and start shoot easy

or use a sword and shield and go for some action!

And Linkona, yes, every monster gets harder as you go up
