I have been wondering about how the weapons deal damage...

if i have an enchanted sword.. then will the damage dealth be
weapon damage + enchantment damage ?

in case of enchanted bow/arrow will it be

bow damage + bow-enchantment damage + arrow damage + arrow enchantment damage ??

is this correct ? coz melee seems to dispatch the enemy more quickly than bowmanship ?

well strength affects how much damage you do with a melee weapon agility affects how much damage you do with a bow and if your marksman skill is low you might not do that much damage with a bow.

and i figure that, the higher the rating the better the weapon/armor, youll do more damage if you pair two high rating arrows with a high rating bow, and i also add half of the enchantment
    i.e. goldbrand, i think rated 26 right now, 22 fire damage, total= rated 37

    opposite of this-->
    ugh

ya.. i knew about the strength and agility affecting the skills.. but i have maxed out on both.

let me write down what i use in each case

gold brand (22 fire damage, 30 weapon damage) total 52 (? i assumed this)

enchanted daedric bow and arrow (25 shock damage, 20 weapon, and 16 arrow damage) total 65 (?)

52 and 65 make sense or did i get those wrong ? if only half enchantment damage applies, it still would be
    41 and 48

    🤔

are you just tapping the attack button with a bow? because that does less damage than if you hold it down if not, i cant really explain it
    ugh

nah.. i hold it down for a while, to get max tension in the string adn only then shoot..

guess different creatures have different weakness/resistance to elements..

wil have to try with non enchanted weapons..
