Adam should have 3 chainsaws
Zombie Genoside should be ten Zombies to get the real mega buster
You should only have to survie on day in infintite mode and
not five for th Z sword
Frank the pimp should have 11 esscorts instead 8
*shakes head*
Hey I got an idea, how about you beat the game 30 seconds after you start it?
[Edited by Molotoch, 5/12/2007 11:48:30 AM]
unlock inf ammo
weapons never break
and stuff like
I think instead of Frank, they should have it like this. A helicopter full of Special Forces land at a city or whatever and they are deployed to secure an area to make a camp for they entire team. You are the only one that survives the inital attack. Later on in the game, have it like your body has some unkown type of immunity to the infection, the queen dies, but left you with increased agility, strength, endurance, etc, but also left you with a strange hunger for meat or flesh. You must every so often eat either living humans, raw meat, or zombies. I saw a movie that was similar, but he eat raw meat and living humans.
Make the SF guy to be able to walk and stand in the middle of a group of zombies and not try to hurt him, because to them he smells like another zombie. I like what another person posted about having them work in groups and use weapons and stuff. It would be kinda funny to see a zombie driving a car around and running over other zombies.
Later on your superior officers find out your secret and decide to try and capture you or kill you. Then you'll have to fight like you did in DR 1.
In the Dead Rising 1, you can unlock a wardrone called (Ammo Belt). I first thought that it would give you extra or infinie ammo, but this wasn't the case.
Now of course you should have to do something pretty amazing to receive the following achievements and clothes, but I think they should give you things like:
Ammo Belt (An actual belt instead of whole wardrobe or just the ammo belts rapped around your clothes or under them to give you infinite ammo for any firing weapon.
Super Shoes - a set of shoes that looks like your regular shoes, but multiplies your current level of speed by 2.
Bullet Proof Vest - A vest that can be worn outside or underneath your clothes and you will receive no harm from bullets no matter where you get shot. Even in the head.
They should give you the Mega Man Buster just for getting it on Dead Rising 1, but give you a newer version of the gun. This time, however, make the gun firing an energy blast that upon impact it causes an explosion the size of a large helium tank exploding. (The ones the zombies push around.)
A Backpack to increae the number of equipment slots you can have. Like instead of maxing at say 15 it would increase it to like 20 or 25.
Expert Engineer - An achievement that will make every weapon other than guns to have the ability to last forever. This inlcudes: bats, 2x4, lead pipes, manacan doll parts, small chainsaws, large chainsaws, etc.
Roadrage - An achievement that makes all vehicles you drive indestructible.
Immortal - An achievement that allows you to take no harm from any attack or fall. I would make this one the hardest to achieve. like for instance, have 1 million total lifetime kills. Of course whatever your total amount of kills was in DR 1 would be added to this to help you out.
Expert Guide - An achievement that makes every survivor you encounter and that becomes part of your group cannot be harmed by zombies, but still can be harmed by scychopaths, you, and other special forces.
I think they should also have it where you can take vehicles to a garage or hardware store or workshop or whatever and custimize it. Make him able to take it to all three and at each place you can do different things. Like: Put spikes on the front at the hardware store, put armor plats on the windows at the workshop, and paint job and extras in the garage like a more powerful engine. A remote controlled motion sensor machine gun mounted on the front, sides, and rear.
They should definetly have it since your a Special Forces guy give you a turret gun that you can place anywhere. Say you have to guard a street that has two streets coming into it. Place one turret at each entrance and guard the only open area. Of course it would be motion sensored.
I don't know of anything else right off hand, but if I do I will certainly post it.
Thats making the game too easy.
Ammo Belt - Infinite ammo? I just want the belt on the same clothes that Im wearing.
Super Shoes - Its called Quickstep.
Bullet-Proof Vest - Also called Energizer
I agree on the MegaMan blaster. Should have 2 modes. A faster 1 small blast killing 1 zombie like in the first game, and the second is where you hold "X" for 5 seconds and it launches a blast killing zombies within a 5 foot radius.
Backpack - Maybe, but only by 5 not 10. That would be to much.
Expert Engineer - No. First infinite ammo? Now you want Bullet Proof characters, and unbreakable items. Cmon, get real. The point isnt to make yourself God. Its to survive.
Roadrage - Again, making the game too easy.
Immortal - Thats a definite no.
Expert Guide - You like making things infinite and immortal dont you?
Maybe with garage thing, but tune it down a bit. Like maybe increased durability and spikes on the side, but not "futuristic" laser sighting guns that kill on contact.
NO MOTION SENSORED TURRETS. It would be funner to try to scramble over and try to make it to the other side to defend yourself.
I made this thread regarding the Dead Rising survey at www.capcom.com/deadrisingsurvey. The last question they ask you, "If a sequel came out for Dead Rising, how eager would you be to buy it?", or something like that. Obviously Capcom must be considering making a sequel if enough people will buy it. I advise you to take the survey I mentioned above, if you haven't already.
Please post your suggestions or ideas for Dead Rising 2 here. I will then e-mail this list to Capcom, and they can do with it as they wish. I am not guarunteeing that a Dead Rising sequel will be made, and I am not guarunteeing that your idea will be used in the sequel, should it be made. Please read all the posts before replying, so multiples of the same idea are not posted; this is just to make it easier for me to make it look neat when I e-mail it to Capcom. What I do guaruntee you, is that I will make sure that I give you credit for your ideas. I will use the screennames you use in this forum. If you wish to be called another name, please state this in your post, or PM me if you would like to keep this name secret. To state again, I will not take your ideas and call them my own. And you can quote me on that, should I be proven dishonorable in the future.
My Ideas:
--Certain weapons can be dual-wielded, should you acquire a matching pair. While dual-wielding, Frank cannot take pictures or perform melee skills such as Lift Up, because he is using both hands to hold a weapon.
--Several people can play cooperatively in a co-op game, where up to X amount of people can try to survive in the mall (or where ever Dead Rising 2 would take place). A player cannot simply be playing be him/herself in single player mode, then invite people to help him through a hard part, then go back to being single player, as this would be unfair.
--Several people can play "counter-operatively" in a counter-op game, where X amount of people control zombies or Special Forces soldiers, and 1 person controls Frank West. The Frank player would take less damage from attacks, and have more health, and only have 1 life. The game would end when Frank died. The zombie or Special Forces players would have unlimited lives, meaning that when the zombie or soldier they control dies, they almost instantly get control of another soldier or zombie located somewhere in the mall. The zombies/soldiers would still be as weak as they are in the game; they would be no stronger or weaker as they are in single player mode.
--Make the guns more realistic. No handgun that I know of that looks like the one in Dead Rising holds 30 rounds. It would need to have an extended clip, which the handgun in Dead Rising obviously does not have. Its just too many rounds, the same goes for the shotgun and the submachine gun. I propose a new system: each handgun would hold around 15-16 rounds, and when you picked up the gun, it will come with 1 or 2 extra clips. Each clip will take up another inventory slot, and the player will have to reload and use up another clip that they have in their inventory. The submachine gun would have about 32 rounds in each clip, and the reloading system would work the same as the handgun. The shotgun would be trickier though. I propose that the shotgun would be more of a "tactical" shotgun, with extra shells attached to the side. The shotgun would hold about 9 shells in the shotgun itself, and there would be about 5 to even 11 shells attached to the side of the shotgun. The player would have to make use of a lengthy reload time, as the player loaded more shells into the shotgun. Another item/clothing that would go along with this would be a "ammo pack", which would an item to be unlocked by getting some achievement. The ammo pack would be visably seen on the player, and it would take up 1 invetory slot. Its special feature is that it would combine all the magazine items in the player's inventory into 1 slot!!

I got to admit, you have some cool ideas. I have a few suggestions. First of all, I think that they should have the writing on the screen bigger (example, when otis is talking to you over the walkie talkie). I don't have the best eyes, so it would be much appreciated if the words were bigger.
I think it would be cool if you could have characters to choose out of at the beginning of the game to play as. Each person with their own techniques and their own storys.
Another suggestion that I have would be if your survivors had an inventory of their own, and you could have them hold things for you.
That's about all I can think of right now, I liked everything else about the game. It was an awesome game.
