In all of the PC reviews you are seeing they are NOT taking the 360 controller into consideration. My son and I have both been playing the game with the 360 controller and we have both been enjoying it (once we figured out what the buttons do). There is actually quite a bit of fun to be had there when the control problems are solved by using the 360 gamepad.

Still not a great game, but definitely fun...

Do not buy it. A waste of money. I thought this game is going to be great, it turned out as one big pile of scrap. If you bought it use the cd for putting it under the glass or throw it for your dog to catch it.

Bethseda softworks made some great movies of the game, but that is the only thing great about this game. Preview movies.

OMFG i have seen maaany wierd things, and heard many strange comments, but this takes the cake
1) The game has no AI for your wingman ships
2) The game looks like its a beta for armada 1 ( actualy it looks worse )
3) The "gifted" creators of this "fun" game deserved to be gutted, shot and runned over by a 12-wheel truck and hanged from a street post for not *ATLEAST* making *SOME* PC support, i mean there are atleast 4 console versions and not even half a' pc one , and for not adding more then 2 options at any given moment
4) Even DMC PC convertion had *SOME* keyboard and mouse support, and that game IS CREATEd FOR USE VIA J-STICK

I got use to the game system....and I'm thinking....did we have too big expectations for this game?

I do not understand why this game is receiving such bad reviews. It is a modders paradise. Finally having a game that uses most of keyboard is quite nice (Mechwarrior 3 fan!). It only took me a day or so to get the key commands down. If you are all thumbs then I would guess it would be a problem. It is completely backwards compatible with previous Star Trek games (go to filefront). After beating it, the first thought that crossed my mind is “ hmmm how can I play with this?” This is a game to be messed with, and only gets better with age. If you are not into Photoshopping it, or tweaking it to your personal perfection. Then I can see how it would appear basic, or if you are having difficulty beating it. That could be frustrating.



Do not buy this game if:



-You do not like modding

-Have poor coordination

-A low IQ

-You do not have a computer capable of running this games graphics to its fullest potential

Go buy a console system!

The game is ok in a way, evne with lots of anoying bugs and things.
