Slightly over dramatic headline for a less than dramatic, though nevertheless irritating, problem.

The trainer for Dark Crusade is probably one of the most stable ones I have come across and I have had some scary experiences with them (anyone remember the old Space Colony one, where the life bar would streach into infinity if you didnt pause the game in time to stop it crashing - hmmm many a spilt brew on my keyboard from that one).

However, I digress: The trainer for Dark Crusade has only one bugbear that I have found on my system and thats one the Vandian Coast level where you have to wake The Malfactorium (something we have all had to do at least once in our lives ) and if you use the trainer the message FATAL SCAR ERROR _ EXECUTION PAUSED! appears on your screen and you emit a small strangled cry.

Fear not brother, for calling down the pause menu you can either try restarting the game with the infinite req and power fuctions turned OFF or try turning them off from the pause menu and resuming battle. In any case I find it fixes the problem and you might even get an instant win on this level from doing it - which saves time lets face it. lol

Found this out by chilling out first and them calmly (lol) calling down the console (CTRL+SHIFT then @) and reading the line: SCAR_could not execute rule : Rule_Power_Counter -Init

Which suggested to me that with my power being infinite at the time messed things up a bit.
Only mission I have had this problem on though, and may I just say to the creators of this trainer file, its one of the best ones out there guys - keep up the splendid work.

good does not cover it if gods made a trainer this would still be unbeaten

The Vandean Coast territory is one of those territories where you can take the territory by accomplishing certain objectives, instead of killing everyone. In Vandean Coast, you have to accumulate a certain amount of power to conquer the territory. Now, if you START with more power than required (read:infinite), you'll have won before it's even started, and Scar is unable to handle that. Which means it crashes.

To win this one without any errors, simply deactivate Infinite Power before starting the battle, and win the battle by, well, killing everyone.
