I CAN HELP! I was trying to figure out how to catch the dude for like a year. I was sick of the game just because of that dude. I know it seems impossible but it is possible. YOU DON'T PRESS THE ESCAPE BUTTON. IT IS A LIE. I tried it and it didn't work.
REAL WAY TO CATCH HIM:So you have to get close to the guy. When the girl starts saying I almost got him you try to run after him. You have to catch him two or three times before he gets to the mansion. I know this is hard from my own experience but it is possible since I caught him.
I REPEAT YOU HAVE TO CATCH HIM TWO OR THREE TIMES Hope that helps! I know it is confusing and hard but it is possible.
