Same here. Verified in several different areas. Posted earlier that the max approval was erroring out on the 'rollback' of hotfix #4... now that the hotfix is back it seems this option is causing CTD's

Edit: Tried it again just to be sure. As soon as I pass the religion check on that book in the crypt (which should trigger an approval event from Shadowheart), CTD. Oh well, at least I have a save right before it now.

Can confirm. Set a save just before clicking an option that would increase Lae'Zel's approval, turned on the option and then clicked the dialogue option, game immediately did a CTD.

Is anyone else having issue with game crashing is you use the Companiopn approval option?

My game crashes when I try to even activate the trainer.

Thanks to all who reported CTDs on hotfix/patch 4. I'll stay on the third one since the 6828 trainer works flawlessly for me. I heard they bungled the patch 4 anyways and did a rollback so I refused to update. Max approval and the use no item options are my crutch 😁. I haven't finished act1 fully as of yet so not really worried about fixes for later acts.

If you set your main ability to 30 (dex/str, depending on weapon type) and turn off 'Karmic Dice' option in User Options you will hit 95% of the time. I haven't missed yet after 100' hours.
