Ok, the cheat crashes the game every single turn. it doesnt happen in the initial turns, it takes maybe 25-30 turns or more but eventually the behaviour comes back, always the same: you press next turn button, the games does its stuff and before the new turn starts, it crashes. I de-installed all mods beside one to play on a large map (assume only in effect at map generation stage) and one to make rites repeatable (but the crashes are not linked to rites) so I know this is not linked to mods... disappointed.
the trainer must work fine if there are no update requests
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I just started experiencing this myself a couple days ago. The version is still the same as the trainer but I am having the same problem as you are. I filed an update request.
