I think found out the logic to editing dwarves with the trainer. While changes don't stick during "Preparation before you embark", maybe I'm doing something wrong? I haven't yet tried to implement changes once embarked yet though. But below is the summary of my findings. If others can confirm that would be great but here you are.

Hello guys, and thank you for all your hard work. I have been a lifetime many years and it always amazes me the work you all do. thank you!

I have noticed when you try to change a trait it always diverts to its original trait, i have tried using the trainer with and without mods and it didnt seem to make a difference if that matters.

? Is there another version there im missing?

No. The trainer works as it should. It makes the text you read show the the traits if you modify the values. What is being said here is that something else controls the 10000 possible combinations of these traits, and since there is a complex thing going on here, I likely won't be able to modify the trainer to make it "stick" to whatever those true traits are. Further, each patch would be a nightmare, should they change offsets and whatnot.

In the time others are messing with this one single game the last 15 days, I have put out a tremendous amount of work and trainers and updates for dozens and dozens of games. If there is someone who wants to dedicate their time to this one title and work with Cheathappens to support it through our app and tools, and you have something to show us that you can do so, then contact us and we can see about adding you to the team for this one title. otherwise, the trainer is likely not going to get any more options or more added to it for the reasons I've already written in multiple other posts here. Maybe NOW 15 days later someone else is making some tools for this game elsewhere, because they spent 15 days on nothing but this game, and maybe that works, maybe it doesn't, but the trainer here works as intended. If some options are useless or not useful, let me know and I will remove them to avoid confusion or complaints.

Sorry Cal, bout to have another kid so I just saw the reply. Looks like another user got to it first. Thanks for the update. The super dwarves is kinda my bread and butter and that one is working like a charm so I'm good. Preciate it though.

Hello there, everyone. DF has been a love of mine for a while, but I've never been very tech-savvy. Can someone tell me how to start off with dwarfs that are legendary in something? Like blacksmithing or anything else?

Hey cal, I appreciate the reply! As of right now i dont know that the editing (traits) function is all that useful but the other stuff is, the focused edit works and super dwarves works great.

Id also like to say, as a long time member i havnt really posted much i mostly just use what you guys release, that being said im extremely grateful for all the hard work you and the rest of the CH team does. I really appreciate the work you guys have put into this 20 year old cluster F of a codding game i am also not tech savvy when it comes to programming anything other than ladder logic for controls and electrical work XD.
