I am using the Steam version of the game and it will not activate using the steam trainer. I can only activate EAPlay or Game Pass version. The only option I want to use is for the police to ignore the player, and that does not seem to be working. Helicopters seem to ignore me, but police cars do not.

Trainer activates perfectly. The no pursuit option works here.
Therefore I will need a savegame, told where the savegame goes, and instructions on how to meet the police and try to have the same thing happen on my computer to able to try and replicate this here.

The epic games version is not supported, please put in a new platform request for this
To submit a request for a new distribution platform, please use our trainer requests system. Once at least 5 people request the same distribution, it will be available for funding. Please do NOT use the trainer option request system to request new platforms as they will be denied. Premium members at any level may request a new distribution as long as it’s done through the normal request system.

Are you trying to use it offline and story mode only?
Have you tried the newest trainer ,the game pass version, instead of steam to see if that works?

We own the game on EA CONNECT. We pay the subscription monthly to allow us to play the majority of EA games "for free" including this one. We do not OWN the game on any other platforms. FURTHER almost ALL EA games whether you buy EA or Steam or EPIC, will install EA, and run the EA version of the game FROM your platform. In essence we are usually ALL using the same executable.
This game is older, and we JUST updated it to work again with EA Connect. I have no idea if Epic is behind, or Steam is behind, OR for some reason this ONE TIME they made the game be separate from EA when they usually have it be part of it.
WE DONT OWN THE GAME AT ALL except EA Connect.
I also don't plan on playing the game for 8 hours to get to "police chases" and whatnot on other platforms, and note that I recall this game you could not share saves.
