Aurora Features Requests Discussion

For those of you that have chosen (via the app settings) to take part in our PREVIEW releases, v1.4.6 has a new feature for basic PC monitoring such as CPU, GPU, Network, etc. We know that many of you likely also run a similar tool and we thought, why not combine them in order to limit the number of apps a user needs running. Note that this is in the experimental phase, which simply means we haven't spent a lot of time on the aesthetics, window placement and behavior, number of monitoring agents, being able to pick which agents to show from a list, etc. We want to see if this is something our users are interested in before we go all in on the feature. Note that in our testing, not all users could see all monitors or info which is due to specific hardware configuration, something else we would work on if taken to a full release. We also did not notice any increase in system resources while running the monitor continuously. It just may take a moment to start up as it collects your hardware info.

We are NOT collecting or storing ANY of this information. It is purely for your info. We have no need for such information.

We would appreciate your feedback though, if you have any, so we know if we should continue or drop it and move on.

Crashed Aurora as soon as I clicked the graphs got a notice of bad image.

Looks like your Nvidia driver installation is corrupted. Try reinstalling your driver (with full deinstallation)

OK, so since it appears that no one could really care less about this new feature/functionality in Aurora, the project is now tossed into the "nobody cares" basket.

We just thought that if some of you are already running similar apps, you could nuke those apps and just run one that does it all.

My bad. Oh well, we shall move on...

Yes I did, but it still crash Aurora. I don't think you should worry since my hardware's getting old as in GTX 570 😵

Sounds like someone could really use the RTX 3080 in the giveaway this month...
