in Far Cry 6, i encountered random game crashes whenever the invisibility hotkey is used for a prolonged period. i did some testing, and discovered that whenever i keep that key toggled OFF, the game runs just fine. however, i'd really enjoy it more if i could use that option indefinitely. i'm using the Ubisoft+ Connect latest version of both the game and the Aurora trainer. i tried everything on the list to-do, but the crash only happens when the key for invisibility is used for a prolonged period of time. i'm on Windows 10 with their built-in antivirus software. if CH doesn't experience the same trouble while testing it out, then i don't know what else to do. my pc is a full custom, with the game installed on the system drive, C, on a 2TB SSD. cpu is i7 4770k. graphics GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8gig, with graphics set at the max allowed for my hardware. Sound is Sound Blaster Z card. memory is 32gig XMP. if CH can't reproduce the crash on their end, then i will just be happy that i've got the other functions =)

It's typically not a good idea to leave ANY option on indefinitely as you always run a chance of hitting some kind of cutscene or level transition or boss fight or 100 other different things that bump into the memory location of the option(s) and can cause crashes. It's best to leave it on just for when you absolutely need it and then turn it off.

understood. and i just discovered what exactly was causing the crashes--the game saves automatically a bit TOO much. so much so that if hit the option while it's saving, that alone would crash it. so now i know not to select that option during one of those auto-saves. it does auto-save every time i pick up a resource, so from now on, i'll keep a sharp eye on that auto-save animated icon whenever i want to go invisible. appreciated the help, PWizard! finally, i can put that to rest! =)
