I did the same thing on FH5 as I did on FH4 to add money.
1.Disconnect internet
2.Enter the game, in the game menu activate the trainer
3. Put the money you want (I put 160M) and buy some part
4.Get some XP card or enter a race, it unfortunately increases your level to the point of corrupting the save
5. Check if the money and the level is ok
6. Quit the game.
7. Activate the internet
8.Join the game and enjoy your hard-earned money.😅
It's just not working for me though. The credits are not changing at all. But then again I'm still in the beginning so does that matter? I just got the 3 starter cars and completed the race with the dudes in the bike and wing suit. Should I play farther? I'm using a really low end PC atm just so I can get this save file some good money and then I'll be playing on the Xbox x so I'm trying to do as little as possible so the game doesn't crash. I'm like on the low end settings. I'm planning on getting a gaming laptop it's just looking like it's gonna be a few months wait due to back order so I gotta do what I gotta do

I waited 5 hours before using money, jump and acc cheats, I have no problems what so ever. But it did not change first time, goes back to 100.000 but then I change it to 20.000.000 and activated and it change immediately. Bought 3 cars, took some xp sign and took a race, upgraded my car. Are you using online/multiplayer as well? I think this is a good idea. When you activate the trainer, do you do it when you're able to drive around? Also, do you mind explaining the EXP/enter race thing? Does adding money add EXP so to make the game not do that you have to complete a race or add some kind of EXP yourself?

Dont forget to buy like a part for a car .
E.g go to the festival and do a tuning upgrade and buy a small part , the money should change.
Remember to level up if you can and it will reset your level back to normal and it will save.

I activated the trainer and the money cheat then edit the balance then I return to the game. The only thing that happens for me is my car hops in the air when I go back into the game. I'm on solo and I've driven around. Opened the trainer after being in the game. So I'm clueless as to what I'm doing wrong. I've tried 20 mil, 160 mil, left it at 100k and none of those methods are working

I'm not offline, I don't compete against other players and play solo. I'm on the road yes. I couldn't see anything else but CR was changed, but I took a race and xp sign immediately and upgraded the car. Has played for almost 5 hours before using it, so I did has some progress and levels.
