Just follow these steps, working for me:

·Start the game as admin to avoid some crashes.
·Enable the cheat.
·Add only a few millions, like 20M and press Esc, first time i tried with 1000M and the savegame was corrupted.
·Buy a car, then u get the car + the 20M.
·Disable the money cheat.
·Spend the rest of the money buying more cars, don't buy more parts, just cars.
·End a race.
·Repeat till u have all your desired cars, don't risk your savegame with the cheap ones.

Make sure when you are using the credits to make sure you are on solo and not horizon life online. whenever you do that press F1 then the num5 or whatever your key is. Once you do that edit the value on the tool to what you want then click back onto the game. wait literally a few seconds like 10-20 seconds or so then your money should update, once done turn off the creds by pressing num5 again. when you do that buy something in the festival or whatever and when you do that go run into an xp board because your level will be set to prestige 10 level 2999 which thats not what is really is. if you close the game before doing all of this your game will corrupt. once you run into an xp sign check your level and make sure it resets back to what it was and looks legit and not the level 2999. Once all is good you are good to do whatever you please. if you want you can restart your game to make sure its all good! Hope this all helps for you and for all new users seeing/having issues with the tool.

Should I be connected to the internet as I disconnect from the internet when I try the credit cheat just in case the system sees me changing credits.

I did the same thing on FH5 as I did on FH4 to add money.
1.Disconnect internet
2.Enter the game, in the game menu activate the trainer
3. Put the money you want (I put 160M) and buy some part
4.Get some XP card or enter a race, it unfortunately increases your level to the point of corrupting the save
5. Check if the money and the level is ok
6. Quit the game.
7. Activate the internet
8.Join the game and enjoy your hard-earned money.😅

For those doing the money cheat, make sure not to have the trainer in the background until you drive around. I had it after closing the game to see if I had an issue with the save game, and it would crash with the trainer in the background.

Back up save. Also, do a quick race after making money cheat to be sure it saves legitimately.

Just use Super Acceleration on straights to get better times
