Oh, and I loaded the same save minus the trainer, ran great. Once I simply activated the trainer, game speed was cut to maybe 1/3 at most.

Not sure then, best to ask the trainer maker. Give them a quick PM or report it for the testers to try.

I would try the console unlocker if you're having performance issues with the trainer.

I appreciate that this issue has been fixed, but this now being 24hr after the post.... how long out is "later"? The version available when I'm posting still causes the massive performance impacts.
