yeah, I just checked ur link, and holy turtle they patch this game quite few times every month. I thought oc they gonna fix things after they drop dlc big update when u say 'patched twice today', but I understand why u don't wanna touch it now.
I don't know how this game updates tho, could trainer updates per big game update works? I think people would be fine with it if small game update breaks few options, at least I could say I'm definitely ok with it. But it will be a waste of time if even small game update breaks core feature, surely people wouldn't wanna that.

Sadly it's not as simple as that, even what you would call Minor updates can completely break the trainer as script locations change as a result. Games that have minor updates that don't break the trainer aren't placed on hold as they would be treated as getting few "trainer breaking" updates.
Trainer Maker has to make the call of if a trainer goes back to active or not and in order to make that call he has to gauge the time it takes to update the trainer against how often the game gets updated to the point of needing a new trainer. There are games where the entire trainer has to be made from scratch every time the game gets updated. This can take hours if not days to process, so when the game repeatedly gets updated it's just taking them away from trainers that need to be updated but will likely work a lot longer.
In short it's a judgment call from the Trainer Maker,

So I have noticed that the updates have stopped for the time being or are completed. There haven't been any for at least a month. Just curious if we might be able to get an updated trainer at this point, or if you'd prefer to wait longer just in case?
Not likely. They recently dropped the Mercenary DLC, ****ed it up, and have delivered at least 1 hotfix patch within the last 24 hours.
Give it a week or two without patches and ask again then.
