No i want to see the modules, not processes, nor did I said you should right click on it. By default the process explorer shows processes at the top in a list and modules at the bottom of the window after you selected a process. And I want to see the modules of the trainer process (its a huge list you cannot make a single screenshot of even on a 4k resolution. I dont want to see the modules with company name = Microsoft Corporation but everything else).

If there is no modules view on your end make sure View -> "Show lower pane" is checked and View -> Lower Pane View -> modules is checked.

    Is this what you want?

It looks like you have Nvidia Geforce Experience installed. This one has an overlay and hooks into game processes which can be the reason for the high GPU usage. Can you close this one please and try again?

If that doesn't help you need to boot into safe mode and launch the trainer there to verify its an external issue. I still believe there is either a third party app hooking into the trainer (because it uses DirectX this is VERY likely) or there is a problem with your graphic card driver / directx.

Its just you. Everyone else including myself trainers never uses more than 5% GPU. So it cannot be the trainer. It must be something else. Try and nail it down.

Geforce inlay is already disabled. This issue persists for me for months, and I even formatted my drives several times in the meanwhile.

I only have standard inlays (Steam, GoG, Origin, etc). I don't have any extra applications which interferes with games. Also, I am not using any streaming apps.

Trainers are using high GPU as soon as I attach to game. They are not using GPU if I don't attach to the games.

I am not sure how to find root cause of this issue.

Well even when its disabled, it injected into the trainer process. Completely uninstall it, see if it makes a difference. If not, close ALL apps (not just the ones in your taskbar, kill all processes), launch trainer, see if it makes a difference. If not, open Nvidia control center, reset all settings, see if it makes a difference. If not, uninstall your AV if you use anything else than Windows Defender, see if it makes a difference.

Run chkdsk and DISM commands, see if something is broken.

Do not trust into the "disable" state in any of the applications settings menu. Instead close or uninstall the app.

Its trial and error until you see a difference. There is something on your computer that makes a difference. Its not the trainer or everyone else would have the same problem.

If you are running in HDR mode, try disable that. If you have a very high refresh rate monitor, try a lower refresh rate. Try open a different trainer page, such as settings, see if it makes a difference. Try minimizing the trainer to taskbar, see if it makes a difference. Activate trainer, then close the game but keep the trainer active, see if it makes a difference. See if running large trainers such as Cyberpunk makes a difference comparing to trainers with just 3 cheats.

Sorry for being late to the table, but did you find a solution?

I've got the same issue since forever, my solution was to minimize the trainer, which will reduce the GPU usage to 0%, but that's kinda annoying cuz it kills the purpose of having a multi-monitor-setup ;(

PS: And yes it's real usage, because whenever I run the trainer and have youtube vids running in background, youtube will stutter like crazy

PPS: It's got nothing to do with nvidia Experience. I removed that and it's still the same as before

Its a bug in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) that occurs if you have a monitor with a very high Hz and something like Freesync or G-Sync enabled. WPF runs hardcoded with 60 frames per second. Until Microsoft hasn't fixed it you need to disable Freesync/Gsync etc. for desktop applications.

Annoying as hell, can't work in any app when it's on.

I believe previous versions of trainers (before visual update) didnt have that problem.
