I had the same problem. You have to start the the without the trainer. Then push the fire towards the piles of wood. After-woods hit Tab and ALT at the same time and load the trainer. I had the same problem. I gave up after 10 mins until i found the solution.

This "Super Damage" option somehow interacts also with in-game physics. In game i've found 3 instances:
One in Demitrescu castle dungeon - you need to move or attack the brazier in order to lit the torches.
Second is the Bells puzzle.
The third is in riverbank treasure house - you need to attack the brazier in order to obtain treasure.
In all instances helps turning off "super damage" and reloading checkpoint.

Sadly I've gone saved, restarted the game without CH even running, went back to the bell/torch puzzles and still not working. I can light 2 bells but the others are 100% broken

Managed to fix it. So i had to rebeat the miniboss next to bell and make sure no dmg cheats and after that both puzzles were 100% do-able.
