For Current Bowler Score, which ever bowler's turn it is, you will see the current values for the throws listed. Press ESC to pause and then you can edit the values which will update the score after the turn is over.
For Buy Ball Costs, when you attempt to buy a ball, the values will fill in. If something is preventing you from buying the ball, like not enough tickets, then you can modify it and try again.
Set Pins Knocked Down:
Toggle on and the value you can set in the trainer is the number of pins that will be recorded for the current throw. Toggle off during opponents playing. Value of 10 will mean a STRIKE.
Game Speed:
Toggle on to speed up the game.
Golden Pin Cost:
For Buy Ball Costs, the best way to use this is to set your tickets and pins currency to 0, then attempt to BUY a ball you are interested in. You can THEN change the values in the editor.

Mute Hotkeys:
-------------------------------------------------------
To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to 'NONE'.
VR Mode

HTC Vive
Click on the 'VR Mode' button. Trainer options will now be drawn as buttons. Activate the trainer as usual with your keyboard. Put your HTC Vive on and when you are ingame press the 'Menu' button on the hand controllers to open the steam overlay. At the bottom you can click on the 'Desktop' button and you can easily press options on the trainer with your hand controller now.
Oculus Rift
Click on the 'VR Mode' button. Trainer options will now be drawn as buttons. Open Oculus dashboard and click on 'Oculus Desktop', now press the buttons on the trainer to toggle the cheats.

I continue to receive this error.

Maybe wait till you are in the game then try to activate trainer.
Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.
This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.
