@rarteaga1975: When you say "it asked to permit changes", can you make a screenshot please? Because I currently have no idea where it comes from.

Also what happens if you extract it somewhere else than on your desktop? What if you copy the files from the extracted folder into a different folder?

@commandrx: If you launch it for the first time WebView2 will create a new (edge based) user profile in the same folder where TM executable is, storing the cookies etc. There are several reports to microsoft where it turned out that it was the AV blocking and scanning these files. Regarding the second problem I have no idea. Maybe just restart the TM? Maybe disable your AV, delete the webview2 user profile directory and restart?

Hi

I'm trying out the new trainer manager and none of my trainers have cover photos ..is there a fix for this?

Open the settings.json with note pad and look for a line similar to

"GameCoverCacheDirectory": "E:\\stuff\\test folder\\TM\\GameCoverCache",

and make sure its there and pointing to the right directory where the folder is

I am not sure, but when you download from CH, it injects your personal account data into the download so that no one else copies the files or uses them without the just and due subscription, penalty for supplying your personal configured downloads (I think) includes loss of membership, so if someone sends you their own TM v1, then they would be in breach of the CH TOS and therefore no one will send you a copy, better ask Pwiz or Cal directly about this to be sure.

I just tried to open the new trainer manager for the first time in a bit, and it keeps crashing. After launching this last time, i get this error after it enters the "preparing GUI" loading phase.

no. it was working fine since its initial release. I opened it today, and its being annoying.

will note, a change in my system was an update to android studio.

Edit 2: deleting Layout.xml fixed it

you can reset that in the Settings menu (cog Wheel) as well.
