Crashes during galaxy map navigation with "fatal error". Otherwise, seems to be working fine.

Exactly, the trainer itself worked, but the game crashes whenever I'm loading into galaxy map.
The game crashes, without a meaningful error screen, if I try to continue game after activating the trainer on the start menu screen. If I try to activate the cheat while ingame, it instead crashes when I attempt to enter the navigation screen. I'm running latest versions of the game on steam, the trainer, and windows 10 64bit.
What or where is "Navigation screen"

The problem is where you load in to the ship navigation galaxy map the game will crash, and it will also crash, when you load/ continue the savegame when it was saved in galaxy map.

yes, but I have no idea WHAT or WHERE the ship navigation galaxy map is, therefore, cannot replicate.
Maybe someone can send SAVEGAME and tell me where it goes, and then I can actually help?
I cannot FORCE the game to crash no matter how hard I try.

Sorry for lacking information, while on the bridge of the main ship, you can click a large thing in the center of the screen to enter the mode where you pick where to travel. Whenever that button is clicked, the game crashes with a 'fatal error'.
